GANESH CHATURTHI.

GANESH CHATURTI is the time when all people bring beautiful Ganesha's at their homes.
This year too we brought a Ganesha at our home. We decorated the idol with flowers,put prasad n sang arti. Niki n me sang along with mamma and papa. Niki enjoys tinkling the small Ghanti which we have in our puja ghar.Mamma got tasty laddoos n sweets for prasad and it was yummy.
Although i like all the Gods but Ganesha is my favourite.He looks so cute with his round stomach.You know how did Ganesha get his trunk? Ganesha was born when his Father Lord Shiva was in Himalayas meditating so he was unaware that Ganesha is born,Ganesha was taking care of home when his mother was away for bath. Not recognising his father,Ganesha didn,t allow him to enter in! He was only doing his duty but this made Lord Shiva angry and he cut off Ganesha,s throat! At that moment Parvati came n told Lord he has killed his own son. Lord sent a message to Lord vishnu and told him about all this. Lord Vishnu said: Go and find any animal which animal you see first cut off his head and put it on your son's head.This is how Ganesha got his trunk!
