DANCE FESTIVAL & MY B'DAY.

My b'day is coming on 25th september. 25th september means 7th day of navratri. On this day, i will wear a beautiful dress . Mamma told somebody to make a lovely chania-choli out of her golden Saree so i'll wear that on my b'day! Yesterday i danced till 12 'o' clock!!....!!...! I also did Raas-dandiya . Yesterday Nikki also danced very enthusiastically, we also did a different type of garba called "SANEDO". in Sanedo we have to dance when the music starts & sit when the music ends,then start dancing again when music starts. Some people were throwing their chunnis in air n shouting too.!It was fun. Niki n i wore our chaniya-cholis with metal ornaments. Tonight again we,ll wear different chaiya cholis n dance dance till we get dead tired!!!

GANESH CHATURTHI.

GANESH CHATURTI is the time when all people bring beautiful Ganesha's at their homes.
This year too we brought a Ganesha at our home. We decorated the idol with flowers,put prasad n sang arti. Niki n me sang along with mamma and papa. Niki enjoys tinkling the small Ghanti which we have in our puja ghar.Mamma got tasty laddoos n sweets for prasad and it was yummy.
Although i like all the Gods but Ganesha is my favourite.He looks so cute with his round stomach.You know how did Ganesha get his trunk? Ganesha was born when his Father Lord Shiva was in Himalayas meditating so he was unaware that Ganesha is born,Ganesha was taking care of home when his mother was away for bath. Not recognising his father,Ganesha didn,t allow him to enter in! He was only doing his duty but this made Lord Shiva angry and he cut off Ganesha,s throat! At that moment Parvati came n told Lord he has killed his own son. Lord sent a message to Lord vishnu and told him about all this. Lord Vishnu said: Go and find any animal which animal you see first cut off his head and put it on your son's head.This is how Ganesha got his trunk! It is one of the most joyous times of the year during Ganesh Chaturthi.I and Niki celebrate it fully. Do you too? Pl. comment on my blog to Buck me up. :)

BOOKS

I think,Books can be very interesting & also important in our life.
We must have lots of readable stuff in our homes. We should GK books.I Just LOVE GK Books.
There r many types of books like, a magazine, a comic ,Good manners,mythological or even our school books!
Some of the books like activity books r full of puzzles & mazes. Some are story books with short stories r very interesting & we can colour or draw in them also like magic pot & tinkle!
And, and , and drawing books! I love to draw & paint.NIki n i did just that in our holidays.My Papa is also a good painter.

We have a collection of books some of them r: AMRITSAR Mrs gandhi's last battle, StayHungry Stay Foolish, Magnificent Maharaja Good earth by Pearl buck & Land Of 5 RIVERS, But i don,t understand all those maybe i am still small to understand it all.

PARTY AT MY PAPA'S OFFICE! Airtel Gujarat

On 27th May,Wednesday there was a drawing competition for Airtel Family in my papa's office .
It took place in Zodiac cafeteria at Papas office.
The cafeteria is beautifully designed , with stars planets on the ceiling, with stylish lights.
It has two big TV screens . Also a small stage for functions, party, dance etc.
There were around 20 kids along with their mammas.
Niki got 1st prize in 0-4 age group.She drew a big orange sun & some balloons &butterflies too !
I got 2nd prize in 8-14 age group.
I drew a girl watering the trees & a boy giving water to his plants.
My topic was SAVE ENVIRONMENT.
There was a tattoo artist for kids he had some poster colors, he made a beautiful butterfly on my hand and a cute smiley on niki's hand.
There was a mehndi artist too ! mamma niki and myself got beautiful patterns on our palms.

There were games for kids and parents like musical chairs, family sack race, couple games.
everybody enjoyed a lot.

There were so many things to eat at food stalls .
There was chinese dosa, paneer pakodas, cheese sandwiches, jam sws, dahi chaat, spdp ie sev puri dahi puri.,mocktails. ice cream with mango chunks,
We ate a lot and enjoyed it .
We also enjoyed the music played

We enjoyed the party very much ! We missed Papa a lot as he was not there. Thanks to Mamma who took us there.

Thanks to Airtel also for giving us prizes, lot of things in goodies bag,

POEM:THE WHITE WINDOW.

A child watches moon in the sky and thinks what it does every night ?
The moon comes every night to peep
Through the window where I lie:
But I pretend to be asleep;
And watch the moon go slowly by,
-And she never makes a sound!
She stands and stares! And then goes
To the house that is next to me,
Stealing by on tippy toes;
To peep at folk asleep maybe
-And she never makes a sound!


This is a poem I learnt in 3rd standard.
I still remember it by heart and also like it.

I have put a lot of glowing stars, big moon, spaceships in my room.

my rooms ceiling glows like the sky when lights are shut and its totally dark.

feels as we are sleeping in open sky.

POLLUTION IN CITIES.

Do you know how many factories are there from which pollution come's?
There are not only factories but also crackers,bombs & garbage to burn.
I give you some points to keep our country clean:
1: if, somebody throws garbage anywhere take it and put it in the dustbin.
2: if there is no dustbin, take it home with you and throw into your home's dustbin.
3: grow more plants.
We should keep our city clean and green.
Grow more plants,grow more trees,and please please please keep your city clean
